"If she is to love life and love freedom and be brave, then she must learn to let go.  To see beauty without clinging to it, to feel pain without holding it hostage and to feel love without worry of losing it."

"I really love this story from the way it was written, to the emotions and thoughts being expressed, to just everything. So many times while reading, I felt like I was reading parts about myself, my story, my fears, my thoughts, my contradictions. Where she wrote she, I could easily replace with I. GG Renee's story telling is so amazing, so much so that I could not only see what was written but I could also feel and understand her experiences. I read it in one night. Took a ton of notes, had a few revelations about myself and got inspired to write, after being a rut for a month. I love this book so much that I am going to buy the physical copy because I have to add this to my physical collection." - S. Robertson via Amazon

"The Beautiful Disruption" is an intimate, thought-provoking story about spiritual growth. Life's struggles (especially the internal struggles we face every day) can really wear on you, and sometimes we need a reminder that life is unexpected, it can hurt, it can be beautiful, it can be cruel, it can be kind, and sometimes it takes a soul-stirring event (a disruption) to make us wake up and start taking control. No, we can't predict or control every single thing that happens to us, but there is much that we CAN control, including what we tell ourselves, how we see ourselves, and who we share ourselves with. Find the good in life, the good in yourself, and shine a light on it. That's just a portion of what I got from this book. I can't wait to read more from GG, her writing style really draws you in, she knows how to connect with her readers. Just really, really good." - Dana K. via Amazon

"I saw myself in the pages of this book. Each page I turned I recognized me. I connected with GG's story, with her experiences, with her courage. I cried at a few places and other's I had to stop reading because the feelings were too strong. Memories of my own experiences came back to me. These moments gave me an opportunity to sit with and face those experiences again, with courage.

GG Renee writes with passion, conviction, and courage in sharing her intimate story with us. Her book will help you navigate your way through challenging experiences that you think you cannot overcome. In "The Beautiful Disruption" she let's us know that we can." - Lisa

"I just finished your book, The Beautiful Disruption...I wish I could find the words to articulate how your words thoroughly defined the feelings I have been unable to express. Maybe at some point I can write them. Thank you for your truth. Thank you for allowing yourself to be vulnerable in front of a judgmental and critical audience. Sharing your tender moments will contribute to my healing and for that I am grateful. May God bless your journey, your family, and your life." |  Y. G. N.

"This was a beautiful story of a woman learning and becoming her true self. Told in a poetic and personal prose, the simple, lyrical phrases touch the heart. We have all been the main character of this book and every woman can relate to her struggle." - Sheryl

"Another life changing read, I won The Beautiful Disruption: A Soul Story by GG Renee in a Goodreads contest. This led to me seeking her to become my soul coach, and a wonderful mentor and somewhat of a big sister figure. I’m so blessed to have found this book. It came at such a crucial time for me, when I really decided I needed to do some soul searching and come into myself. I devoured the book of soulful essays in 1 day, as GG covered her break up, her relationship with her mom, and her self-reflection into herself. Love her and love this book!"  - Briana

"The thing I like most about this book is that I found myself saying over and over again, "Yup that has happened to me too!" I found so much of this book relate-able even though my own mother doesn't have schizophrenia. Experiences that I wouldn't have voiced, GG not only found her voice, but she also put that voice into words to help other woman like myself, see their experiences in a different way. Its a quick read but so insightful that you may re-read parts of it again and again." - Gina G. via Amazon

WALLFLOWER is a book of essays for women who have gone through life thinking that something is wrong with them because they are introverted and reflective in nature. From shy beginnings and limiting beliefs to anxiety and the awkwardness of self-promotion, I offer advice to women who want to express themselves creatively but are afraid to draw attention to themselves and be vulnerable.

"The book reads more as a personal conversation, or even as a motivational speech. I can see this book easily be turned into a devotional-style book with daily readings and questions which urge application of the material to every day life. It was nice to see my own feelings on paper. It serves as a good reminder that I am not crazy or strange, after all. They are people out there who act like me and feel like me and introversion is not necessarily a problem.

All personality types can benefit from the advice given in this book about how to be true to who they are, to move beyond fears and expectations of others, and to take more of an active role in deciding what is right for them. These are things that everyone needs, and the book should probably be revisited from time to time. Thank you for sharing a little of yourself with us (your readers). I think this book may also be great for teenagers, helping them to process who they really are before it's too late.

This book reminds me to be authentic and that no matter how different someone may seem from me, we face some of the same problems, such as fear, procrastination, etc." - Shara

"This is the first book that has made me understand that I can be an introvert and still be cool. Other books have made me want to shun my introvertedness to become who I'm not, they teach how to overcome shyness, awkwardness, and become more extroverted and this made me feel left out, depressed and frustrated most of the time because in the end it is who I am." - Olakunmi

"As always, GG somehow crept into my inner most thoughts and used them for material. All jokes aside, I really did enjoy it. Not only was it honest and so transparent, it was relatable. It is a self help book, but it wasn't written in a condescending tone. Instead it was written from a bold place of truth. Her signature voice was loud and clear throughout, which only further explains the honesty of the work.

Women who don't know how to express their experiences need this. As soon as I can, both books will be added to me and my mom's library and gifted to whoever I can afford to gift to. I applaud this body of work, knowing that it will only get better from here.

When someone is authentic, I'm their biggest fan." - Chymere

"From the first time I was introduced to GG Renee's writing, it felt like she was speaking on my behalf. We have a lot of similarities, maybe not in experience but in the way our experiences made us feel. Like a puzzle piece that got thrown in with the wrong puzzle, I spent most of my life always feeling like an outsider to others. In her book, GG give examples from her life, but she also gives suggestions on how you can embrace who you are and still be comfortable in the presence of others. This book doesn't disappoint. It's intellectual, clear and to the point, but it's still deep enough to help you make the decision to finally be comfortable with yourself." - S.Hood via Amazon

"GG writes straight from her heart and into the hearts of introvert and ambivert women who desperately want to break out and be heard. She mixes her experiences with questions, affirmations and advice. She describes our feelings elegantly, so that you don't think you're alone (because you're not). A motivating read. Quick and to the point without seeming like it was lacking anything." - Briana via Amazon
