1:1 CREATIVE COACHING

. . .

For a personalized experience, purpose-driven writers who are seeking help with writing to heal, limiting beliefs and patterns,
self-discovery and idea generation, personal narrative story development and more,
can work with me as a mentor, coach, and consultant.

. . .

AM I THE RIGHT COACH FOR YOU?

a holistic approach to creativity

. . .

My guidance includes insights and techniques from my experience as a blogger, author, creative coach, and storytelling consultant; as well as personal growth and mindset strategies from my experience as a self-care expert. You can learn more about my background here.

I believe that creative well-being is influenced by mental, emotional, physical, social, and spiritual well-being, and that approaching life with a self-care mindset allows the fullest expression of who you are to be released.

A self-care mindset sets the tone for the way you do everything: how you manage your time and energy, how you choose your commitments, and certainly how you approach your creative dreams and goals.

With this perspective, I present my clients with a holistic view of the creative process that includes self-discovery work, journaling techniques, self-care strategies, idea generation tools, and storytelling methods to boost creativity on a day-to-day basis, and to sustain long-term projects and a life-long practice.

. . .

I add value by helping you access the truth, vulnerability,
and devotion needed to be the storyteller you want to be.

. . .

WE MAKE PROGRESS ON YOUR CREATIVE CALLINGS

by understanding your creative type

Holistic creativity is an approach that emphasizes mindset and process before craft. Part of that exploration includes understanding your creative type.

According to research, actualizing creative goals requires a combination of dreaming and doing. If you choose a foundational session, part of what we do is identify your strengths and weaknesses so we can leverage your gifts and find solutions for your challenges.

If you’re a dreamer, you may be full of ideas but struggle to get them out of your head and into words and plans. If you’re more of a doer, you are organized, systems-oriented, and never miss a deadline, but you may struggle to connect with your intuition and access the vulnerability to bring forth the deeply authentic work that conveys your one-of-a-kind life message.

Wherever you fall on this spectrum, you need access to both energies to create momentum in your creative life, and the benefits of this awareness are sure to spill over into the rest of your life, as well.

You leave our sessions knowing that your callings are not out of reach. It’s not a matter of if you can do it, it’s a matter of figuring out what works for you. Understanding your creative type empowers you to leverage your motivations, your innate gifts, and even your challenges to activate your creative potential.

WHAT YOU DON’T KNOW, YOU CAN LEARN

the art and practice of vulnerable storytelling

In keeping with my process-first approach, courage is a focal point of our work together. Some of my clients are professional writers, and some have never shared their writing publicly before. Many of them are writers in some capacity, but have never shared their personal stories before, which requires a unique skillset. No matter their background, they are writers who value the art of expression and storytelling and are committed to developing their craft.

You get to define who you are as a writer. I don’t believe you have to write every day, or write fast, or have an extensive vocabulary, or literary credentials for your writing life to thrive. You can start wherever you are. Instead of fighting with yourself to fit into a mold, I will show you how to mindfully build a creative practice that allows you to feel free in your expression—a practice that you actually enjoy—so your process can inform what you create.

I meet you where you are providing opportunities to build courage and confidence, learn new ways to approach writing, incorporate creative exploration and development into your lifestyle—and only if you wish—discover a variety of ways to share, publish, and build a platform for your work.

pursuing your creative callings requires that
you face your fears, cultivate a growth mindset,
and overcome limiting beliefs.

CREATIVE SUPPORT THAT MEETS YOU WHERE YOU ARE

embracing the growth process

Have you allowed yourself to imagine all the places that your calling could take you?

In 2013, I started my professional writing journey as a blogger. It was an accessible way to turn my writing hobby into a career, because I had no writing degree, no connections, no roadmap. I experimented with blogging for businesses, freelance writing, ghostwriting, course creation + self-publishing. I built an audience by writing vulnerably about my self-discovery journey and offering tools to help others write their truths as well, which created a clear channel for heart-centered, purpose-driven creatives to find me.

In 2019, while continuing to build my experience, platform and community, I was commissioned to author two guided journals, which introduced me to the traditional publishing process and all that comes with that; while also teaching me how to juggle multiple writing projects along with my various roles and responsibilities in my personal life, all while taking care of my overall health and well-being.

In the summer of 2023, I finished the book proposal I’d been slowly plugging away at for months and signed with Ashley Hong at Gardner Literary. This project explores how I went from living a defeated story to walking in my purpose, and how we can all do the same by treating our life experiences as creative material that we have the power to shape. My book, Story Work: Field Notes on Self-Discovery and Reclaiming Your Narrative is forthcoming from Broadleaf Books on November 4, 2025. Preorders are open now.

My creative journey has taught me to rely on authenticity, curiosity, and a growth mindset to carry me through each new challenge, and this is the energy I instill in my clients. Whether you are seeking foundational support to recover your creative voice, or project-specific support to help you make progress on a targeted goal, you don’t have to do it alone.

My role as your creative coach is to help you journey from inner reflection to outer expression with an emphasis on courage, alignment, and practice. I’m passionate about creating resources and developmental experiences for writers, artists, business & creative professionals of all levels who want to bring a fuller expression of themselves into their lives and work.

DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?

the push and pull of desires and doubts

. . .

You want guidance on how to use writing as a tool for healing, self-discovery, and creative courage.

You are being called to open paths to more expression in your life.

Somewhere along the way, you stopped believing in your creative potential, but you have a vision that won’t leave you alone.

Your inner critic often talks you out of acting on your inspirations and ideas.

You attend workshops occasionally, but it’s challenging to maintain that creative high when you step out of the workshop bubble and back into your practical life.

You want to develop a creative process that works for your temperament and lifestyle.

You are often creatively blocked by the feeling that you don’t have enough time, resources, or energy.

You want to stop daydreaming about writing and start taking action.

You’re seeking a coach, mentor, and accountability partner to support you in overcoming your creative challenges.

YOU DON’T HAVE TO DO IT ALONE.

If you have a creative calling, sometimes the classic ‘Just do it’ advice is exactly the kind of push you need. But if that were enough, you’d probably be off doing it already—and not here reading this.

But if it is, you probably would have stopped reading by now, and you’d be off just doing it!

Some people are responsive to a more mindful approach including: foundational work that helps you build courage, a creative development plan, and a coach who has the experience to support you through the resistance and emotional blocks that you will face along the way.

CLIENTS COME TO ME TO…

Reconnect with Their Creative Power

They sense they’ve lost touch with their creative spark or inner voice, and they want a guide who knows what it means to reclaim that connection from a place of depth and truth, not hustle.

Tell the Truth of Their Story

They want to write or create from an honest, embodied place. I help people make meaning from their lived experiences, not bypass them, and that gives them permission to own their full story.

Navigate a Transformation with Integrity

They’re in a moment of professional or personal reinvention and need support holding the tension between what they’re letting go of and what they’re stepping into.

Create from Alignment, Not Obligation

They’re done with productivity for productivity’s sake. I help you slow down, listen inward, and create from a place of clarity and authentic flow.

Write as a Tool for Healing and Insight

They’re drawn to journaling, storytelling, or reflective writing but want a deeper, more structured way to access their inner world.

Build a Cohesive Body of Work

They’re ready to move from scattered projects to more intentional creative expression, whether it’s a book, a platform, or a body of work that reflects who they are becoming.

Be Seen and Held in the Creative Process

My clients don’t just want accountability—they want to be witnessed, encouraged, and gently challenged by someone who understands the emotional landscape of creative growth.

Remember That Their Voice Matters

Whether they’re emerging or returning creators, my approach reminds people that their voice is worthy of taking up space, even if the world doesn’t get it yet.

when the inner work comes first,

progress happens naturally.
