creativity + EXPRESSION

Creative living is purposely designing your life so you can thrive in environments that inspire you. It’s about actively utilizing who you are, what you believe in, and what you’re good at to make a difference in the world. Read on for ideas, techniques, and exercises to support you in living a fully expressed life.

self-care + healing

Approaching life with a self-care mindset means separating from the push and pull of the world to embrace a new way of life built on healing and renewal. I’ve learned the hard way that you can’t fake your way to health and happiness, and the more you pretend, the more unhappy you feel. Read on for ideas and stories about mental health, healing and self-care.

self-discovery + awareness

Knowing and accepting yourself and your unique point of view is essential to creating the life you want. I specialize in helping people — especially women — discover their truths through writing. Read on for insights on identifying patterns and becoming more intentional with your thoughts, feelings, words and habits.

personal growth + development

Personal growth is an ongoing creative process that involves learning, unlearning, and seeking knowledge that expands your possibilities. See below for articles on transformation, ambition, commitment, purpose and more.

STORY WORK

Story work is a process of reflection, unlearning, and reimagining that allows us to find new meaning in our life experiences.

Finding the courage to be honest with myself and tell my story shifted the trajectory of my life and led me to a fulfilling purpose and career, but the journey to fuller expression wasn’t easy. I struggled with shame and inner conflicts because I didn’t want to face my painful truths, let alone share them. But when I started writing, I found that my unexplored shadows and memories held wisdom for me; and eventually fresh insights and perspectives revealed themselves, my mindset became more flexible, and I started reclaiming my story, one truth at at a time.

The following pieces include my personal stories, as well as ideas for integrating the process of writing to heal with the practice of sharing stories. These reflections are meant to get you excited at the prospect of reimagining your own story through creative exploration.

By the way, if you are looking for ongoing inspiration or ongoing support for your own story work, my memberships offer weekly reflection exercises and a variety of group writing sessions. You can learn more here.
